Who We Are

Welps Farm and Greenhouse is a family owned and operated business in a rural community, located 15 miles southeast of Jasper, IN. We began our operation in 1992 by growing and selling Chrysanthemums for fall gardeners. In the fall of 1993, our family built a 72 by 30 foot greenhouse. With the help of a few friends, our family constructed the greenhouse ourselves. For the next 3 years we grew annuals, perennials, and vegetables in this greenhouse.

In 1996 we decided to expand by building another greenhouse. This greenhouse, a little larger than the first, measures 96 by 32 foot and utilizes adjustable side curtains to increase air flow and provide better ventilation and temperature control. In 1997, we decided to add trees and shrubs to compliment the flowers we were already selling. Business grew and in the fall of 2004 we decided to expand again. This time we felt a gift shop would add value to our growing customer base. We decided to carry a wide variety of gifts, decor, statues, landscaping accents, seeds, water garden accesories, gardening supplies, and much more.

We have recently added handmade wind chimes, handmade wooden toy tractors, pedal tractors, Rhythm Clocks, and Willow Tree Angels to our selection of gifts. We also provide delivery service to the surrounding community for all of your gift giving needs.
